Based on the Bikram series of 26 postures and two breathing exercises taught in the heat. Each posture is done in a specific order, preparing the body for the next posture. It is a challenging and exciting workout that heals, detoxifies, tones the internal organs and cleanses you from the inside out. The sequence is designed for beginners as well as those who have a regular practice.

Hatha Yoga

Hot Vinyasa flow is a dynamic flow-based yoga building focus, strength and flexibility. Vinyasa flow is a style of yoga where the focus is on the breath helping you transition from pose to pose. Vinyasa has both mental and physical benefits. The synchronised breathing relaxes the mind while the sweat re-energises the body.

Twist Pose

Yin Yang yoga is a practice that balances the slow-paced Yin yoga with the traditional Yang yoga. To target the connective tissues you hold poses for a longer time in Yin Yoga, whereas Yang yoga is a more active practice to warm the body and stretch and strengthen the muscles.  Yin Yang classes at H4Y will be taught in a warm room. The classes will start with a slow paced Vinyasa practice covering the Yang element, followed by a long Yin practice, ending with relaxation. Yin Yang is great for beginners and those preferring a slower paced class.

Vinyasa

Classic Mix yoga is an all levels class where you can expect your favourite 'Classic Hot' postures with a few surprises, giving you a chance to try different poses and challenge the mind and the body. Classes are taught in the heat and will develop and work your focus, flexibility, balance and strength.

Handstand

Hot Power Yoga is a dynamic and energetic vinyasa flow class where you will move from pose to pose syncing the movement to breath. Benefits include improved strength, balance & flexibility. Similar to Vinyasa flow classes, but expect to get your heart rate up and build up even more of a sweat.

Stretching on a Mat

Rocket yoga is a dynamic style of yoga. It is a modification to the traditional practice of Ashtanga Yoga, consisting of Sun Salutations, standing poses, seated poses, twists, and bends. Rocket yoga encourages you to be playful with poses, bringing lots of fun to the practice. Lots of variations are given making this class accessible for all. Rocket yoga cultivates strength, flexibility, and focus, while maintaining the evenness of breath, making the practice moving meditation.

Prenatal Yoga

Pregnancy yoga designed to support mothers-to-be on their pregnancy journey from their second trimester onwards. Pregnancy yoga focuses on stretching and strengthening your body using adapted yoga poses. The classes include breathing techniques to help during labour, and finishes with a meditation for relaxation.
